Ballagh Centre has a networked training suite of 12 desk-top computers.
New
Ballagh Centre is accredited with FETAC, ICS-Skills (who oversee
ECDL and Equalskills in the Republic of Ireland) and City &
Guilds (Pitman exams).
We
offer courses from pure beginners (Equalskills), through improvers,
all the way up to ECDL and Advanced ECDL. We also run Desktop
Publishing (DTP), Internet and Digital Photography courses.
New: Web Design
Course
We
are currently (February 2010) hoping to offer a FETAC Level 5
Web Design course over fifteen Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to
9:30pm
This
fifteen week course is aimed at anyone who wishes to set up a
website from scratch, particularly with a focus on selling online.
The tutor for this course is industry expert Jonathon Lomax who
has tutored in London and worked extensively in Ireland as a web

This
blend of tutor and industry experience makes this course
more attractive than any other web design course taught in the
North West.
This
course is being offered in partnership with FÁS and will
be available free of charge to people who are unemployed. Jobseekers
in receipt of Jobseeker's Allowance, Jobseeker's Benefit, Disability
Allowance, One Parent Family Allowance. If you are not sure whether
