The Organic Centre
The Organic Centre is a non profit organisation set up in 1995, with the aim of providing public education, training and information about organic growing and sustainable living. The Centre is located on a 19 acre site in Rossinver, Co Leitrim, Ireland, and also has outreach centres in Co. Clare and Co. Wicklow.

The Organic Centre runs workshops on organic horticulture, gardening, green building, alternative energy, and artisan food production, and we offer a year long organic horticulture training programme.

Leitrim Pottery
From his studio overlooking the Rossinver Mountains, Alan creates functional and decorative stoneware and earthenware pottery for sale. Examples are available in the New Ballagh Centre.

Alan also runs the occasional weekend pottery course from his studio. Check his website for details.

Rossinver Fishery
Rossinver is on the shores of Lough Melvin, which is fished mainly for it's Salmon and Trout.

Lough Melvin is home to two unusual species of Trout - the Gillaroo and the Sonaghan - as well as the common Brown Trout.

The Glens Centre
Situated in Manorhamilton, just a few miles from the New Ballagh Centre, the Glens Centre is a gorgeously intimate venue housed in a converted Methodist church. The performance space seats up to 140, has excellent natural acoustics and is fully fitted with lighting and sound equipment. The Glens also houses recording facilities ( pro-tools + digi design) and self catering accommodation for visiting performers. The Centre hosts a wide ranging programme including the best of contemporary, world, trad, folk and jazz concerts as well as a feast of theatre, readings, children's events and world cinema.
